Clean Coal Technology Online Course & Certificate

Clean Coal Technology is a course that describes a new generation of energy processes that sharply reduce air emissions and other pollutants from coal-burning power plants.

After completing Clean Coal Technology, students will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following:

No prerequisites are required.

Students will be assigned 5 homework assignments, and 1 final exam for each course.

  • Power generation systems such as, gas-fired furnaces, premixed-charged engines, oil-fired furnaces, gas-turbines, direct injection engines, fixed-bed combustors, pulverized fuel combustors, and fluidized bed combustors
