Engineering polymers are materials with outstanding mechanical properties such as stiffness, toughness, and low creep that make them valuable in the manufacture of structural products like gears, bearings, electronic devices, and auto parts. Engineering Polymers is a course that reviews specialty engineering polymers and thermally curable resins (epoxies). Other engineering plastics, including acetals, polyamides, polyimides, polyacrylates, polycarbonates, and polyesters will be presented. After completing Engineering Polymers students will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following: A basic understanding of chemistry is recommended. Students will be assigned 5 homework assignments, and 1 final exam for each course. Module 1 Module 2 This course is Instructor-led and delivered through our award-winning online Learning Management System.
